Doves on a Gas Grill
16 Dove breast
Clean your doves very well. Lightly cover the breast with salt and pepper and Cajun seasoning then wrap the breast with bacon. A little less than half of a slice of bacon works really well. Use a toothpick to hold together. Place the breast in a marinating container such as a Pampered Chef or Tupperware that you can cover. Then cover the breast about halfway with Zesty Italian dressing and let marinate for 24 hours or at least over night.
Cooking: Preheat your grill and place the marinated doves on the grill breast bone down and allow to cook for 30 minutes, then turn them on one side for 5-7 minutes and then the other side 5-7 minutes. This will allow the bacon to cook.
Really good side items to consider are Rice-a-roni and a side salad
